Our parent agency, The Allen Thomas Group, has its roots in 2003, the year Joe Race founded it. Akron, Ohio, has been its home base from the start, and it has always worked for its clients instead of a single insurer. Being independent means the agency isn't tied to a single insurance company. It works with more than 12 A-rated carriers and compares them for each client, instead of fitting every business into one company's product.

Today the agency holds licenses in 28 states and operates brands for specific kinds of businesses, so each one can speak plainly about the risks those owners deal with. Commercial Cleaning Insurance Group is the brand for companies that clean offices, clinics, schools, plants and other commercial buildings.

Who does the work for your account

Joe founded the agency; he isn't the person who handles your account. Our licensed team of commercial cleaning specialists does that work: reading the insurance exhibit on a contract you're bidding, comparing carriers, explaining what a janitorial bond does and doesn't do, setting up additional insured wording, and turning around certificates for current clients. When you start a quote or call the office, a licensed agent on that team is who you'll talk with.
